The Open Championship concluded the PGA Tour's 2023 majors — and it served as the perfect opportunity for players to pull out their very best for what we consider to be the fashion finale in men's golf, despite playoffs looming in the upcoming weeks. The wet conditions of the final round at Royal Liverpool offered excellent displays of the best rain gear; however, the other three days had us reeling over players in cardigans, Nike's blush pink palette, and the myriad of special edition golf shoes created for the Open. Here are our favorite looks from the 151st Open Championship and how to incorporate each into your own look.RELATED: Will Viktor Hovland's Open Championship scripting top his other head-turning majors looks this year?

The Englishman was the obvious fan-favorite and seized the moment with some of his best style choices of the season in front of his home crowd. In the early days of the tournament, Fleetwood stepped out in the Nike Dri-FIT men's golf cardigan from the brand's Standard Issue Collection during a practice round. The Standard Issue collection is Nike's rendition of throwback looks optimized to meet the needs of the modern golfer—like wicking fabrics, rubberized snap buttons and a machine-washable construction. You can style the cardigan with a classic golf polo like Fleetwood did, or layer it over a tee for a casual, yet elevated look. The cardigan wasn't the only layering look Fleetwood aced last week. During Saturday's chilly third round, he dawned the new Nike Dri-FIT golf hoodie in blush pink.

The last time McIlroy was at Royal Liverpool he hoisted the Claret Jug and was crowned champion golfer of the year in 2014. Nine year later, he's still at the top of the leaderboard in both score and style. His T6 finish was paired with top honors on our style charts. Arguably his best look came during the third round, where he showed up in a very clean white-on-pink script accented by the new Nike Air Zoom Victory Tour 3 NRGs. Like his fellow Nike ambassador Tommy Fleetwood, McIlroy didn't shy away from the pink colorway that's taking over the world of fashion — and we're happy about it. The best-selling Nike Dri-FIT Repel Slim Fit Golf Pants (which McIlroy sported in the color pink oxford) feature denim-like stitching across the pockets, offering more variability with what they can be paired with.

There are two guarantees that Cameron Young will deliver on: have one of the highest ball flights on tour and dress in traditional golf silhouettes with little touches of modernity. Young is an ambassador for Peter Millar for apparel and sports FootJoy shoes. During the third round, Young was seen in the FootJoy x Harris Tweed Premiere Series Hoylake—shoes which will be available to the public on August 3.

Luke Walker

We know, we know yet another Nike athlete, but what can we say? The brand served during the final major of the year. Jason Day's third-round look tastefully accented his micro-printed floral polo with black slim-fitted pants. This recipe is simple-yet-effective, which is why the Aussie landed on our list. We were unable to find the exact polo in the white/pink colorway, however, the same polo in midnight blue is currently on sale for Nike's back-to-school sale. The days of Rickie Fowler's bright orange fits seem long gone, but it's nice to see that he's still having fun with his on-course looks. During the opening round of the Open Champion, Fowler rocked a couple of pieces from the new Puma Golf X Liberty collaborative collection. He paired the PUMA x Liberty Men's P Golf Hat with a color-coordinating mint green pullover and navy blue pants. With this look, Fowler executes a near-flawless execution of color balance in an outfit that is funky and fun, without being over the top.RELATED: Puma teams up with London design studio on 1960s-inspired floral golf collection

Andrew Redington

We'd be remiss not to include Hovland in this roundup, though he covered up most of his eye-catching looks with pullovers throughout most of the championship. But if you liked his scripting from the Open, expect to see more of it at this week's Amundi Evian Championship in France, where fellow J.Lindeberg ambassador — Atthaya Thitikul will be showing off pieces for women from the summer holiday collection.
